Friends are foes and foes are friends by Akindipe Samson George

  I don't know why life has been   programmed to be this way,
your best friends are nothing but a foe, in the guise of a good friend,
trying to sought for solutions to your problems,
with the aim of putting you in a doom and  Waterloo,
when you still even eat in the same plate with them,
dine and share your last penny with them, they still get jealous and envy your success.
  When you trust your heart and life in  their care,
they will go further by dumping it on a dunghill,
  when you solicit their advice on way forward;
   they tend to give impossible solutions in the guise of slowing your destiny and join them in going nowhere,
  when you go back to tell them that it's not working,
  they will tell you to run faster; which they had known that it is a wrong road.
    When you are being arraign for a trial, they will appear as a defence witness,
with the aim of corroborating the prosecutor's claim and evidence,
which will eventually lead to your convictions. 
    If it takes a tram to fulfill a dream, then friends are foes and foes are friends.....

The issue of Reincarnation, Akudaya: A Myth or a Reality? Iya ibeji was a popular Ewa Agoyin seller in the whole of Brown street. She got her fame in the street when she moved from selling ofada rice to Beans. No okada driver or bus driver would pass by iya Ibeji's shop without dashing to eat Ewa Agoyin and Bread. The customers in her shop are always massive just as if the shop is a praying ground. The rate at which the people in the locale patronises her shop is akin to how the pilgrims visit the Holy Land. After my secondary school education, I left Ekiti State to settle down in Lagos with our elderst brother. After my first week in Lagos, I decided to familiarize myself with my new environment. After walking a few miles, then I saw the shop of the infamous Iya ibeji. I dashed to the shop just to get my favorite food "Bread and Beans".                                              ABSTRACT This study is aimed mainly at discovering the sociolinguistic factors motivating the use of slang and their meaning among Nigerian musicians as a social group. All other expositions and considerations are subordinate to the above set goals.
