Having a trait of Pedophile is one of the intolerable act a man can possess. It is very pertinent to define what pedophile is. According to English dictionary, pedophile as been defined as "person who is sexually attracted to female children, starting from a toddler to the aged 16 years old. Or a person who has a mental disorder that makes him primarily or exclusively sexually attracted toward prepubescent children." A pedophile can also be refer to as an adult who is attracted to anybody below the age of consent; an adult who is sexually attracted to children.

This can be seen in the Northern part of Nigeria, where the men get married to girls, girls who are not up to age.
Another effect is that, it makes a man to be a potential child rapist. It is very disgusting to hear or see a man of 45years who had rape a girl of 9 or 13years. Why not having sexual intercourse with people of age? The truth of the matter is that people of age are not attractive to him, because he's a pedophile and he derives pleasure and joy in having sexual intercourse with female children.
However, it is on a rare occasion that we would see or hear that a woman of 45 or 50years rapes a boy of 10years. Though it happens but what is known popularly among the women fokes is called "sugar mummy" relationship.
A man who is a pedophile is very dangerous and could be unpredictable, he can go extra mile to satisfy his sexual urge, to the extent of taking his child, neighbor's child or any of the wife relatives who live with them. If you take your female child to a relative that is pedophile for an holiday, there is high possiblity that the child would get raped or she would be assault sexually.
The constitution of federal republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended, provides some measures for trial in criminal cases. If a man has no life, there is nothing left to human dignity, fair hearing, and the protection of human rights cannot be achieved without respect for the right to life.
